Obituary of Beverley Blanche Johnston

It is with great sadness that we announce Beverley Blanche

Johnston (Kells) passed away peacefully at the age of 83. Bev is

predeceased by her mother Gwen, sister Joan, brother Ken Kells

and brother-in-law Doug Booth. She is survived by her sister

Phyllis and sisters-in-law Rita and Fran. She was a

wonderful mother to Yvonne (Wayne) Marlatt, Chester (Alison)

Johnston, Wes and Chris Johnston. She was a loving

grandmother to Shane, Brandon (Jennie), Jaclyn (Nick), Carlee

(Connor), Chester (Jacqueline), John (Krista), Abby (Rob).

Adoring GiGi of her great grandchildren Gavin, Meira, Leo, Nella,

Hudsyn, Hazel, Calah, Myles, Maeve, Hudson, Greyson. She will

always be cherished Aunt Bev to her nieces and nephews.

Comrade Beverley was a dedicated Ladies Auxiliary (LA)

member of Branch 230 for 30 years holding a secretary position.

Bev also volunteered on the board of the Lupus Foundation.

During her working career she spent 18 good years at Irvin

Industries. Then went on to be a PSW and was a compassionate

caregiver. Bev will be greatly missed by all her amazing friends

enjoying their trips, playing cards and lunches.

Williams Funeral Services have been intrusted with arrangements.

To honour Beverley’s life, a service will be held at her St. Lukes

Lutheran church 245 Prospect Pt. Rd. Ridgeway on Saturday May

3rd at 1 p.m. and a celebration of her life will follow at the

Ridgeway Legion Branch 230 located at 228 South Mill St.

Ridgeway from 2-4 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Lukes Lutheran Church.
