Dear Uncle Arnold. How Aunt Betty enjoyed the pleasure it gave her to see you pleasing others. I cherish the memory of her smiling in the background as you were showing me your new Morris Minor, or your new 45 RPM record player with the gospel music (all memories from your place out in rural Stevensville). And many since and those which stick are always milestone occasions, like the times I visited you in Saskatoon in the summer of '64. Aunt Betty will be dearly missed by us all. How sorry to hear of Betty"s passing. But happy she is in a better place away from pain. Betty was the highlight of my days while we both lived in Kindersley, Sk. She always looked on the bright side of life, so happy to be alive and loving and kind to everyone. I missed her so much but happy for the times when we were together. Uncle Arnold, Keven, Karen,Kathy Krista, Keith and extended family. We are so sorry for your loss! I feel your pain, but also know that you are glad that she has no more pain. I remember well all the family gatherings,her delicious pies, and her endless energy! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. I am so very sorry for your loss Kathryn and Marr Family. How I loved Betty! She was always the "hostess with the mostess" when we would have sleep-overs as teenagers, and that continued as we visited in her home as adults. She shone Jesus through her gift of hospitality and her grace, and she will be very missed.
